Walking in Hertfordshire Hertfordshire Health Walks are supported by volunteers and will give you a warm welcome. Most of thewalkers come by themselves and the groups are friendly and supportive. To find out more, visit the website at:

Flaunden, Latimer and Chenies is a Facebook community group for our three villages. The aim is to act as a community newsletter and resource.

Accessibility Guide for places to go Do you worry about facilities when going out? The AccessAble website  has details of hundreds of places, such as shops, libraries and stations.  You can quickly check the Accessibility Symbols or review the Detailed Access Guides for each location. So, you know exactly what is available there and can plan your trip with confidence.

Help to stay safe and independent at home Check out Hertfordshire Councy Council accessible website to find lots of ways to make things easier at home such as aids, adaptations and alarms, meals on wheels or home care. Leaflets are available in large print and easy read formats. We produce videos on most topics which are BSL accessible and have a Sign Language Video Relay service.

Dementia Support  There is a free drop in service in the Liberty Tea Rooms in Hemel Hempstead Town Centre, every Tuesday between 10am and 12pm. The objective of the service is to provide support and signposting for people newly diagnosed with Dementia, and their carers, within a safe and inclusive environment. It's a great place for those dealing with Dementia to get the support and friendship they need.  More details at the Liberty Tea Rooms website.
